A. Pricing

1.    How is price calculated?

    • BestAmericanTees.com pricing is based on four components.
      • Type – which garments are ordered.
      • Quantity – the number of garments you order of the same design.
      • Colors – the number of colors in your design.
      • Locations – the amount of locations of printing on the garment.

2.   What affects my pricing?

    • Type: The brands Best American Tees carries vary in price, but we use our purchasing power to get you the best possible deal on blank apparel. We buy from all over the country and do so in large quantities. We then transfer those savings to our customers.
    • Quantity: Our printing process dictates that if you order a greater quantity of shirts, you’ll save money. It’s simply less expensive for Best American Tees to setup and print a large number of the same design than it is to setup and print a small number of a single design.
    • Colors: The process of screen printing requires us to make a separate screen for every color in your design. The fewer colors in your design, the less expensive producing the design becomes for us and for customers.
    • Locations: Each printing location on a piece apparel (i.e. front, back, sleeve, etc.) demands a specific setup in order to execute. Therefore, multiple printing locations on your apparel will raise the price.
    • Other factors that can affect overall pricing include:
      • Sizes 2XL and above start at $1.50 more per garment.
      • Adding individual player names will increase the cost of your shirts as well.

3.   How can I lower the cost of my order?

    • Use fewer design colors: The screen printing process requires us to make a separate screen for each color in your design. The less screens we have to make, the less expensive it is to print your apparel.
    • Increase order size: The more shirts of the same design that your order, the less expensive it is for Best American Tees to produce them. Since each color and each printing location means a new screen setup; dividing this cost among many shirts rather than just one or a few means savings per unit for you.
    • Decrease printing locations: Simply put, the fewer screens Best American Tees has to setup for one apparel order, the less expensive that apparel will be for the customer. Each printing location on a garment requires separate screen setup, so printing just on the front of a shirt versus printing on the front and back will reduce your overall cost.

    • Free shipping is applied to all orders of 12+ items and the shipping destination is within the continental United States.

B. Printing

1.   What types of printing do you offer?

    • We currently offer both heat press printing and traditional screen printing with different capabilities such as 10 color designs, jumbo print, and water colors.

2.  What method of printing should I use?

    • Traditional Screen Printing – Generally used for orders over 12 pieces and the one most used.
    • Heat Press Printing – This is normally recommended for small orders under 12 garments.
    • Both methods of printing are high quality and are backed by the Best American Tees Guarantee.

3.   What resolution should I use when uploading my personal design for printing?

    • We Currently only accept vectorized images. We can have your images converted if needed.
    • The higher quality image you upload, the better the finished design will look.
    • Generally a 300dpi image that is saved to the size you are wanting it printed is best.
    • If Best American Tees has to increase the size of a small design to fit the parameters of your design request, the image quality will likely decrease noticeably. For example, submitting a 300dpi image that is saved at 2″, but ordering a shirt design that sets the same 300dpi image at 12″ would result in a blurry, pixelated graphic.
    • It would be most effective to submit to Best American Tees an image that’s the actual size of the finished design to be screen printed onto your apparel.

4.   What is the maximum print area for my design?

    • For adult shirts our standard sizes are as follows:
      • Full Front: 13″ wide; Max – 15″ X 19″
      • Full Back: 13″ wide; Max – 15″ X 19″
      • Left or Right Chest: 4″
      • Upper Back-Neck: 4″
    • For youth shirts our standard sizes are as follows:
      • Full Front: 9″
      • Full Back: 9″
      • Left or Right Chest: 3″
      • Upper Back-Neck: 3″

5.   How do I make the print color match the color of the names/numbers on my apparel?

    • We match both your design and names/numbers to ensure there is no issue here.

6.   How can I make sure my design is centered on my apparel?

    • If you have any questions or concerns about placements in your order then feel free to contact us and we’ll make sure your order is taken care of correctly.

7.   Can I print on the sleeves of my shirt?

    • Currently our designer does not allow this but if you’re looking to have specific design placements then we can accommodate you. Just give us a call at 1-888-720-9867 or send us an email.

8.   Can I print on pant legs?

    • This varies depending on the garment but in general, yes you can accomplish this. If you have questions then just give us a call at 1-888-720-9867 or send us an email.

9.   Can I print across the seat of pants?

    • Currently our designer does not allow this but if you’re looking to have specific design placements then we can accommodate you. Just give us a call at 1-888-720-9867 or send us an email.

10.   Can I print on the legs of shorts?

    • This varies depending on the garment but in general, yes you can accomplish this. If you have questions then just give us a call at 1-888-720-9867 or send us an email.

C. Embroidery

1.   How do I request embroidery?

    • Even though an embroidery feature isn’t available in our Design Studio at this time, we do have a full in-house embroidery department ready to get to work on your custom t-shirts and other garments. If you need further information then give us a call at 1-888-720-9867 or send us an email.

1.   What types of free services do you offer?

    • At Best American Tees we double check all orders before they move onto the processing department. We’ll look for common missteps like:
      • Sizing
      • Placement
      • Centering
      • Spelling
      • Line Spacing
      • Proper Image Upload

E. Delivery

1.   What methods of delivery do you offer?

    • Best American Tees uses UPS ground service for all standard orders. That means you get FREE shipping for orders upon completion in 14-days or less (varies by travel distance and UPS operating hours). We also offer rush delivery, which guarantees delivery in under 7-days. These shipping times reflect shipment within the contiguous 48 United States. Meaning, Alaska and Hawaii don’t apply to these shipping times. If you have any questions regarding shipping, please contact us and we’ll happily help you find the answers to your questions.
